Because all I can think is that Michelangelo perfectly captured the look on her face that says "oh, I would rather be anywhere but here" as her toddler is trying to get down, etc. It's a perfect refutation to the whole argument on "she's doing this for HER"...I don't THINK SO!!!

It's neat that you have these pictures to remember the boys when they were nursing as tots! This inspires me to collect more pictures of my tot at the breast.

I was single (still am) while my son nursed, so I don't have any pics, but I wish I did. Still the memories are sweet.
Thank you for sharing these, they are an encouragement to me. This is my first time (second child) nursing a toddler and most people I know just ask me when I'm going to be done nursing and look at me strange. These pictures make me laugh because I can relate and give me encouragement to keep going. Thank you!

OMG, the sea creature nursing is adorable!
Have you see www.thecowgoddess.com or www.mama-is.com ? Both are by the same artist, Heather, who is also an uber mom! She may be a little "extreme" for some, but I find that necesssary. The squeaky wheels get the grease so to speak, which IS why nursing in public is becoming more common. (& not the "unholy" thing I am doing "to" my 18 month old in FL last winter, sheesh)
An extremist "ap" mom but A lovely "friend" when the going gets tough! And isn't that what we all need? just my 2 cents (in Euro, lol)
