My archives might be a little outdated especially the older blogs. My links above are all new and current.

I have only positive things to say about Permission to Mother, an autobiographical account of a thoughtful mother and clinician who courageously writes from her heart, soul, brain, and personal experience; who is open to change in her views and opinions and is not guided by the safety of rules of any group or the status quo; she is guided by love and openness to the experiences life brings her and her family. Her process benefits her and those around her and those who read her words. And to add to that, the writing style and story telling ability here make it a very enjoyable read speckled with both the humor and seriousness of life. ~Laura Keegan RN FNP, author of Breastfeeding with Comfort and Joy

Permission to Mother Feedback

It's really neat to find out in my google reader and google alerts who is reading my book, Permission to Mother. My favorite feedback is reading about how my book has benefited my young mom readers.

Thanks Jenn for dedicating a blog post to me. I love your thoughts about Breastfeeding as Medicine. Recently one of my boys had an eye infection and I told him that if I still produced milk, I would use breastmilk in his eye. Instead we used yicky eye drops... then I got the eye infection, too.

I've met Jenn once, but I never met Gretchen, who's post about Permission to Mother came to me in my alerts on the same day I read Jenn's post. I am glad you came across my book in your library. :)

Thank you for the feedback via your blogs.

Your book really inspired me too. I hope that one day I'll write a book that will inspire a lot of people too. For now I guess I'll just have to settle with blogging my experiences.

Trish, I thought I remembered when you posted about PTM on your blog. I think your blog is private now and I was wondering if I could still access the blog.

Establishing a writing routine via regular blogging is a great way to accumulate material for a book. I don't have the time or energy for an other book now, but one day I will be able to put my writings and photos together for print.
