I am open to phone consults. Most of you are well educated and need something simple resolved.
Some families just need information. I may not be on your insurance or I may be out-of-network. It may be hard for you to get in because you have a large family or live too far.

Some common scenarios that I have been phone consulted for recently:

1) No insurance, obvious mastitis (or thrush), needed prescription.
2) Medication Compatibility
3)Established family just moved out of state and suspect there is yeast passing between the two of them.
4)Following up to discuss lab results, that don't require a drive, but more complicated than the nurse should handle.
5)After hours and holidays (if you don't reach me no harm in asking).
6) Adoption/Relactation
7) Implementing a plan leading up to an office visit in the future
8) Information to support your milk supply/co-sleeping or life style.
9) Dyslexia/reading difficulties

Phone consults like the examples above are $50. (I find most requests are straight forward).
