My archives might be a little outdated especially the older blogs. My links above are all new and current.

I have only positive things to say about Permission to Mother, an autobiographical account of a thoughtful mother and clinician who courageously writes from her heart, soul, brain, and personal experience; who is open to change in her views and opinions and is not guided by the safety of rules of any group or the status quo; she is guided by love and openness to the experiences life brings her and her family. Her process benefits her and those around her and those who read her words. And to add to that, the writing style and story telling ability here make it a very enjoyable read speckled with both the humor and seriousness of life. ~Laura Keegan RN FNP, author of Breastfeeding with Comfort and Joy

1)  I am accepting new families who are expecting a new baby preferring to meet you while you are pregnant or planning an adoption.

2)  I am accepting one-time focused-consults for
  • breastfeeding (including tongue-tie/frenotomy, adoption)
  • referrals from LLL, homeschool, midwives, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • pre-conception planning
  • or other unusual lactation situation.
3) I am accepting older families (beyond pregnancy, did not establish during pregnancy) looking for a primary care doctor who desire my philosophies. Mother's will establish when the first child establishes. Dad's are welcome, too. There may be a waiting list.

4) As fluctuations in seasons and appointment availability occur, I will consider your request for nutrition, hormones, weightloss management. I will make Vaccine Exemption consults a priority especially before school begins. Please plan early.

5)I can arrange to do phone consults.

I welcome and appreciate  e-mail and inquiries from new patients through contact us introducing yourself and your needs.

Not all of my services are covered by insurance.
